Antique Vintage RCA VICTOR 6XF9 Tube Bakelite Radio / \"Proof-of-life\" Video For Sale

Up for saleis this1950’s space age 1954 RCA Victor 6XF9. Marketed as the “Lyndsay” by RCA – it was a high end model but marketed a notch below its bigger 6RF9 cousin but RCA certainly didn’t skimp on quality or function as this set is quite a performer –Powered by8 TUBES! And with dual loudspeakers – it sounds great withthe warm and rich sound that only a tube radio can produce. It has excellent selectivity and reception, and there is no hum. The tuning knob works great with no slipping. From listening to the video, you can see that this radio sounds great bringing in stations up and down the AM and FM dial. It has a working Phono input which was tested with my ZUNE & IPOD/MP3 and it works great! It has its original back and external components. There are minor blemishes and imperfections on the front, top, sides, and bottom – but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the radio – please see photos for all details. There is a little bit of white paint on one of the knobs. You will love listening to it for many years to come.
