For sale is a beautiful antique melodeon made by Xavier Spang of Syracuse, New York sometime between 1860 and 1886. It measures 31 3/4"H x 55"L x 25"W and features a rich mahogany frame with finely carved cabriole legs.
This organ has not been tested, yet, it seems to be complete. The wood has some normal wear and minor marks, but no cracks or chips.
UPDATE: this model has been opened and a vintage Eureka vacuum motor is inside a closed box with a single light bulb. (See added photos)These items turn on but the motor is loose in the box. Therefore, testing the bladder to see if it holds air while keys are depressed cannot be confirmed. Yet, everything seems to point to it being fully operational with some minor repair.
