Antique/Vintage \"DAVID WHITE CO.\" Survey Level Transit Meridian(?) + Wood Case For Sale

This listing offers the vintage or antique piece of survey equipment by David White Instrument Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The wood case is so marked on the top. I honestly have no knowledge about this type of equipment, and as I don\'t see a model number on the piece, I couldn\'t reference the piece to learn more. The case is very solid and appears made for the piece. Dimensions are approx. 11 1/2\" long x 5\" tall x 5 1/2\" deep.
The tool inside looks to function well and is cosmetically very good for a piece it\'s age. Level bubble is clear and functional. Optics seem fine. Rotating parts move fine.
