Seed Chart published by Cole. It is based on average size seed. Exactly what seed and how many per hill depends on your own seed size at time of planting and may very from batch to batch.

Cole was purchased by Powell Co. in NC which in turn was purchased by Covington Co. in GA. Covington still makes the large (Hi Speed) Planter Plates for the Cole and Powell planters. The Small (Slow Speed) Seed Plates are no longer manufactured by anyone. If you find them they will be USED.

NEW OTHER means: Never been mounted or used, Old and/or Surplus Stock, left over Inventory (been sitting on shelf for several years). Original box may be damaged or not present (Bought Bulk did not cone in a box of package for resale). May show signs of ageing, oxidation, fading, rusting, dirt, dusty, scuffing from handling, & etc; but will function as any new one should.

USED means: Has been mounted and/or used. May show signs of ware, scuffing, miner damage, and etc; but will function as good as a new one or as described.

PARTS ONLY means: Damaged and etc and will not function as a new one without repairs if repairs are even possible. Sold for parts only.

If you feel my shipping and handling fees are too high, please don’t offer. I’d rather you move on than agree to and buy my stuff (knowing what the fees are ahead of time) and complain about it later. You want a bargain, I want a profit.

I don’t warranty anything. I don’t guaranty anything. I tell you what it is and how it is to the best of my ability. From there you have to ask questions. My word is my bond and I stand behind it. If you don’t ask questions, don’t complain. Find what you want somewhere else.

This is not a full time business with me so I don’t check or monitor E-Bay every day. If you buy, I ship within 3 business days after your money clears my bank.

First understand we are not here to take advantage of anyone nor do we want to be taken advantage of and we like to make a profit just like you. The price you pay is entirely up to you. You control the offer. If the price of the item is too high, you simply quit offerding or don’t start offerding. The starting price is set for one reason. We can afford to sell it for that and nothing less because of the cost we have in it: Cost of Item, plus selling expenses ($0.25 insertion fee per line item charged by E-Bay, a 9% selling fee charge by E-Bay, a 3% total transaction fee charged by PayPal and that does not include other fees by E-Bay if you want to add more photos or enhancements or etc. (if you sell on E-Bay you know what we are talking about, if you don’t sell on E-Bay; I encourage you totry it), plus freight expenses.

Now we come to the Shipping and Handling. The shipping and handling is in addition to the cost of the item. We are already selling the item for less than market price or you would not be here reading this and looking for a bargain. The shipping and handling includes the cost of the freight (which we have no control of) but you know it is what the market will bear, plus fuel surcharges, confirmations, certified, insurance, NDA & 2day, and registered cost and anything else that the carrier can get for the services you want. Now we got the cost of material in boxing and taking to the carrier’s drop off point or the fee for them to come to us to pick it up (normally $10.00 + for UPS). The handling fees are forboxes, packing material (boxes range from $1.29 up, bubble wrap is $.16 per foot, tape is $3.50 per roll, etc) and yes labor (nothing is free today) (time and transportation to get it to the carrier). Oh and don’t forget E-Bay charges 9% fees for cost of shipping and handling also (just started that last year) that someone has to pay.

Before you criticize a seller for charging extra above the actual flat fee for shipping, look what expenses are incurred and by whom. What is the difference in paying $0.99 for a spark plug and $1.38 shipping and $1.32 handling or paying $3.68 and free freight (what is free?)? You are still paying the same. After the seller pays for the item, all charges from E-Bay and PayPal and Shipping and Handling cost we get a little from the sell of the plug and a little from the handling but look who get the most. Before you get the urge to poor mouth and bad mouth the Seller for the cost of shipping and handling try it for a while and see what they go through.

You THE BUYER can control it all. You see the price of the item and you see the cost of the shipping and handling. If that is too much for you to bear, just don’t offer. Then the whole system bears the burden of high cost not just the seller and the seller don’t get the blame for every body else fingering in the pot which he has no control of. With the total cost of the spark plug (item, shipping, & handling) itemized out, you can see who is getting what part of the total and then write your commits. Seller: cost of plug $0.50. E-Bay: insertion fee $0.25, selling fee for the item $0.09, selling fee for freight $0.25. PayPal: Transaction fee $0.11. Carrier: Freight $1.38. Handling: (box, packaging, transportation to the carrier): $1.32. Total profit to seller: $0.-22. If he don’t charge shipping and handling some way, he don’t stay in business long. Small Sellers have to be thrifty to just break even.

SHIPPING POLICY: Purchaser pays all shipping & handling and applicable fees and charges unless specified differently in sale. Please check shipping charges before offerding. We do charge a handling fee above the cost of the freight. This is to defer any added cost but not limited to packaging material,confirmations, certified or registered, Labor, & etc. We are not getting rich on shipping charges. The whole point in packing is to do it right the first time to insure arrive is just as departure. A box is not cheap, nor is bubble wrap, which cost 16 cent a foot. It takes almost an hour to properly pack a heavy computer or printer and the cost of packing material is close to $8.00 alone. They average 35 lb and it cost approximately $1.00 per pound. There are fuel surcharges and other charges added to the freight cost. If you feel the shipping charges are too high, please do NOT offer. We would rather lose the sale than to receive a poor rating for excessive shipping charges. Total shipping & handling cost will be stated on all sales. We only ship to confirmed addresses on your Pay pal Account. The shipper we utilize isofour choice unless arranged in advance of offer or purchase. We use only UPS and USPS. Most orders will ship United States Parcel Service in the Continental USA (48 States) only unless arrangements are made before offerding and purchased. Our policy is to ship items as soon as possible after confirmed receipt of payment (mostly within 2-3 days). We do no combine shipments as a policy as some items are prepackaged and it is not always shipped from one location. If more than one shipment going to the same address arrives in shipping at the same time, the shippers will ship both orders in one box and shipping discounts will be considered. We cannot hold orders to combine shipping. Shipping does not include insurance. Once an order is placed into the hands of the shipper, we can no longer be responsible for the item or any shipping damage. I recommend insurance on all fragile items and big ticket items. If you needextra services with your shipping let us know, all extra shipping expenses are to be paid by the buyer.Any item damaged will result in a damaged claim through shipping company. The shipping company inspects all items. They will pick up the item along with all packing materials. The claim process can take 3-4 weeks. Credit will be issued once claim process is completed. Shipping Fees Are Non-Refundable. We ship within 72 hours of confirmation of payment and/or monies are cleared.

TERMS of SALE: Unless otherwise stated, ALL items are sold AS-IS and all Sales are final and legally binding. Winning buyers will be notified shortly after the sale ends. This notification will outline total amount due and payment methods we accept.

PAYMENT: Georgia requires we collect 7% Sales Tax on items purchased and/or shipped within the State of Georgia. Pay-Pal is not our preferred method of payment but we do accept Pay-Pal. Payments with credit/Debit Card and Pay-Pal must be made within 3 business days after purchase agreement. Money Order, Cashiers Check, & Personnel Check must be approved by E-Bay prior to offerding or purchasing and postmarked within 3 business days after purchase. Checks must clear our bank (approximately 21 days) before shipments can be made. A “CONFIRMED” address is required to protect both our interests against fraud. Shipment will be made within 3 business days after payment clears.

RETURN POLICY: All itemsare sold AS-IS unless otherwise stated! We accept returns if the item is not as described or DOA only. We offer no warranty expressed or implied. Some items are new and carry a factory warranty. The buyer will have to pursue any factory warranty. Some items show a generic picture (factory Photo) for various reasons. Any return that does not have a RGA # clearly marked on the outside of the box will be refused. You have 7 days for it to arrive back in our facility freight prepaid. If you wish to utilize our return policy, the item must be packaged to insure no damage in freight. No credit will be issued on goods damaged by return freight. No credit will be issued on goods damaged by return freight. Upon inspection and approval, merchandise credit will be issued (less shipping fees) within 48 hours. In all cases, ANY RETURNS AND/OR EXCHANGES WILL BE AT BUYERS EXPENSE (FREIGHT COST BOTH WAYS). However, if we are not notified within 72 hours of delivery that there is a problem, you waive all rights to make a complaint or return an item. We have had customers want to return an item after 60-90 days and we just cannot honor those request.

International Buyers: We will ship first class USPS, but it is a one way ticket, andwe have no way to track it. Please Note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer\'s responsibility. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up; do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
