Authentic Half-Real (1/2 Real denomination) Spanish-Colonial Era Silver Cob Coin, from unidentified source/wreck, likely minted in Potosi, late 1600s or very early 1700s.The coin is mounted in a custom, handmade bezel pendant setting, constructed of Sterling Silver, as well as several solid yellow gold prongs, and a solid yellow gold hoop/ring-type bale/bail mounted at the top for wearing the pendant on a chain or cord. Both the gold hoop as well as the gold prongs are made of 10k gold. Very nice silver nautical/ship\'s rope feature is also functioning with the other prongs to hold the coin in place even more securely. Nicely detailed on both sides of the coin, and the bezel setting is open on both sides as well, making this pendant truly reversible. The gross weight of the entire pendant and coin is 3.61 Grams, approximately. Ungraded, please see photos for condition and judge the item for yourself, thank you for looking!
