Brief Bio:Son of a preacher, Abstract Expressionist Beauford studied in Boston at a variety of art schools. Later he moved to New York to continue his studies and career. In 1938 he moved to Harlem to a studio on Greene Street. In the village he met many artists and writers who would he would remain close with for the remainder of his life. In 1953 what was supposed to be a a trip to Europe resulted in a permanent move where Delaney spent the rest of his life and artistic career in Paris.Very rare book ‘Beauford Delaney: The Color Yellow\" in high demand.This rare book is used and in good condition. Has slightly worn corners and binding of the book but is otherwise in very good condition.
