Sounding audiophile receiver ever made by Sansui and to this day it’s highly sought after by music lover audiophiles due to its FANTASTIC! Sound , build quality and good looks. It’s very heavy! Thanks to it quality materials and super large heavy power transformer .
This example is one of the best preserved all original condition you will ever find the wood cabinet and finish is almost perfect with very few minor blemish on the top hardly even noticeable and you won’t even care .
This was purchased from estate of a music lover who had some of the finest vintage audio gear I have seen abd has taken great care of it . In my possession it has been given even more loving care the results can be seen in the many pictures of the actual receiver you will be getting.
Recently it has lovingly serviced to help maintain it for years to come . Here is what work was done :
1. The 4 factory matched all orginal famous vintage Sanken brand large TO-3 audio power output transistor and the large heat sink they were mounted on were removed the old dielectric grease removed new better transparent grease added to each transistor , mica wafers and the heat sink for like new performance .
2. All switches and potentiometers the large tuning capacitor cleaned with a quality electronic cleaners that cleans and leaves a thin film of protective barrier that fight dust and moisture and results in maximum transfer of electrical signal.
3. The front panel and knobs removed and carefully cleaned from both sides for like new looks.
4. All the five fuse type dial and meters panel lamps removed with brand new bulbs .
5. Every single square inch of this beauty cleaned from inside out ! Nothing was left to chance . All components are all original except dial and meter brand new bulbs as mentioned above one of the best preserved all original condition Sansui 7070 you will ever find and then some! The chassis inside look like day it was made without a single rust spot.
ALL THIS HARD WORK HARD HAS PAID OFF! IT LOOKS AND SOUND FANTASTIC!
