\"Women\'s Vintage Raincoat, Hooded with Lamb Chop Sleeves,1969 \"COUNTDOWN, Biba, Granny Takes a Trip, Jumpin\' Jack Flash,\"Edwardian Look, Near Mint.\" This stunning MAXI lengthraincoat was bought by me for my wife in 1969 at Countdown, in Greenwich Village, NYC,on Greenwich Ave. just near Sutter\'s, the best French Bakery in town.At the time she wasa Pre-Raphaelite stunner who just walking on the street was photographed for \"DO\'s\" in Mademoiselle Magazine and \"what to wear\", in WWD. If I remember correctly the owner/designer was named Diane Leslie, but I couldn\'t find her name, or \"Countdown\", on the net.Overall it appears almost as NEW. Just stunning. The pictures will do a better job than I in describing its features. All photos were taken in natural window light. However, even with overcast skies, my windows, 25\' L and two stories high, bring in excessive light. In a more naturalsetting the burgundy color is deeper and more subdued. I left things as photographed to emphasize detailsand any flaws.Near the hem here isslight hole in the satin lining,which has a dull crepe finish,as shown; caused by Chelsea Cobbler boots, all those years ago.There arealso some burgundy spots which have transferred to the lining but werehard to photograph. Thereare no otherholes or tears. The button holes and the arm pits are perfect. Still it is a used garment and is soldAS IS. I try not to miss anything, but it does need a goodcareful cleaning and press. The other storesnames mentioned in the title were places that had similar items that we bought fromand sold to; bothhere and inLondon when we lived in Amsterdam in 1970-71.
