This is Blackstars flagship amplifier. It is 100 watts of pure, tube tone. As expected, the volume is extremely loud with 4 voicing modes (these really do provide different tones) and an overallfull-bodied plexi-like tone. Had a PPIMV (post phase inverter master volume) installed and this greatly aids in allowing you to get nice distortion at bedroom volume levels. Sounds great with Celestion Vintage 30s, 65s, greenbacks etc. Power tubes are Tung Sol and came out of a new 2555X amp. Changed knobs to \"M\" brand as they are easier to read in low light (original knobs included).Heavy iron, all hand wired tag board construction with spotless solder joints (for more info - please go to Blackstars website). Note: There is a small scratch (hard to see - see picture) about 3-4 inches long on the side - naturally this does not affect the functionality of the amp in any way. Have way too many amps - wife says some have to go...
