This gorgeous Blueridge BR-180A is inspired by Martin’s iconic D-45. Abalone Pearl borders accent the top, back, and sides and continue around the fingerboard extension and neck joint. The premium Ebony fingerboard is adorned with snowflake-style position markers, and the Rosewood inlaid headstock features white/black/white binding around the edge and the banner-style Blueridge name on the faceplate. The guitar’s solid East Indian rosewood back and sides are very dark in color and contrasts beautifully with theslightlyaged finish of the Solid Adirondack Spruce top, withhandcarvedparabolic top braces in an authentic Pre-war forward X-pattern.Adirondack spruce was the favored top wood for the classic pre-WWII era guitars and today, is a hard to find tonewood. The Adirondack spruce top with forward-X top bracing pattern is mated with a solid Indian rosewood back and sides. Hand finished with lavish pearl and Abalone work inlay, this BR-180A delivers articulate tone with an elegant appearance. A solid mahogany neck is joined to the body with traditional dovetail neck/body joint and topped off with a solid Ebony fretboard. The gold plated butterbean button, Kluson-style tuning machines with an updated 14:1 ratio mechanism for modern precision and feel turn easily and hold securely.
