BOBCAT 843-B SKID STEER
Now available is this Bobcat 843-B full size machine. I used this skid steer around my property and it has served me well. I believe it is a 1991 and the hour meter is showing 1489 although I cannot confirm that it is accurate. I do know that this is a very strong and reliable machine that runs great and has never let me down.
Mechanically, this Bobcat is in very good shape for its age. The 54hp Isuzu diesel has been re-sealed and has no leaks. It starts right up and runs very strong with no smoke. The hydraulics are strong. The complete hydraulic cylinder assembly on the bucket is brand new. Lift capacity is rated at 1700lbs and the machine weighs 6400lbs. It is a big, stout unit that can move anything you ask it to. The bucket has been built up with plates to accomdate bigger loads since the machine has no problem handling the added weight. The controls are worn in as you\'d expect for a machine of its age, but the hydraulics hold strong and the bucket doesn\'t sag when parked. It will creep ever so slightly if you let it idle on level ground, but only an inch or so. The quick connect levers behind the bucket move freely by hand. The previous owner added two bolts to the bucket to draw it tighter, but they aren\'t necessary.
Cosmetically, it is in good shape. It was recently painted and has a fresh set of oem style decals. There have been some welds around the bucket and mounting plate, but nothing on the lift arms or body of the machine. The seat has a crack in the foam but it is still comfortable. All the lights and gauges are operational. Included with the buy-it-now price is a set of four like new tires and one additional steel wheel. The tires on the machine are in good shape and hold air fine. This is a turn-key money making Bobcat that is ready to go to work today.
