This is a very hard to find piece for a Nelson Wiggin Piano Player or Nickelodeon. It reads This Slot will register up to Twenty Coins and Made by Nelson-Wiggin Piano Co. Chicago. The Nelson Wiggin company only operated for 8 years or so in the 1920s making some very well made Piano Players and Nickelodeons. The brass plate does show the wearing off of the black paint at the top of the coin slot from use.
This would make an excellent addition to any collection.
