This beautiful coffee/tea saucer from Buffalo Pottery\'s Deldare Emerald product line is a true antique piece, manufactured in 1911 in Buffalo NY.Emerald Deldare Ware is the \"Cadillac\" of the Buffalo Pottery and usually commands a very high price. Most of the pieces were decorated with Doctor Syntax scenes with humorous verses. These were whimsical drawings/engravings by Thomas Rowlandson depicting the doctor\'s famous tours of London, Paris, etc.. There is a predominance of green in the ware, which may have contributed to its name.
