Released in 2012, Candlebox's "Love Stories & Other Musings" marked a stylistic departure from their earlier grunge sound. The album incorporated more pop and rock elements, with frontman Kevin Martin describing it as a showcase for a more positive and hopeful side of the band. While it featured a cover of the Damone song “Out Here All Night” and some re-recordings of their greatest hits like "Far Behind" and "You," the album also included new songs exploring themes of love, relationships, and introspection.
Candlebox is a Seattle-based rock band that rose to fame in the early 90s grunge scene. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1993, was a massive success, selling over four million copies and spawning several hit singles, including "Far Behind" and "You." The band is known for its soulful vocals, catchy melodies, and powerful rock sound. Despite a brief hiatus in the early 2000s, Candlebox continues to tour and release new music, with their latest album, "The Long Goodbye," coming out in August 2023.
