Up for sale is a Chevrolet 173/2.8 liter V6 engine. It came out of a 1985 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer 4X4 at just over 130,000 original miles which was replaced with a new Chevrolet crate engine. The motor was still running but had water mixed with oil indicative of a blown head gasket. A common problem for this motor. It was drained and stored in the crate the new motor came in and has been in the back of the shop ever since. It comes complete with original valve covers, heads, valve train,block, covers, crank, pistons, rods, oild pump and oil pan. It is a extra long block that has not been unassembled. Now my need to make room is your gain as this motor is priced to go and easy to move since it is in a create.
