History of the original Order:
"After the victory of the Chinese resistance against Japan in World War II, a commemorative medal for the 'Republic of China National Army's Outward Reception' was awarded. On the obverse side, there is an image of Chiang Kai-shek and the inscription 'Return my rivers and mountains.' The medal was conferred by the Commander-in-Chief of the Northeast Security Command, General Du Yuming."
