This jacket is magnificent! Fully restored and repaired by a professional seamstress.
Made of a thick silk with a 3-D \"waffle\" puckered pattern. The seamstress identified it as silk, and I\'m going by her years of experience. There is no tag to confirm this, but, I feel confident it\'s 100% genuine silk.
This was a labor of love. The entire jacket was basically taken apart and rebuilt. Every seam was re-sewn. There was an area under the right arm that was expertly patched. This work is so well done it\'s only really noticed on close inspection. It\'s completely undetectable when worn.
Hours and hours of restoration were involved, but in the end it was well worth it. It deserved to be saved. Now it looks pristine!!! Clean and ready to wear.
