For sale is this extra nice Model 1853 sharps carbine butt stock. Has about 50% original finish and is a nice piece of walnut. Very minor damage in the lock area internally and hardly worth mentioning. Hard to find on the loose and it makes you wonder why was it taken apart or changed. Probably a military replacement stock and has tinges of green residue in the recesses so must have been brass trimmed.
