This is a 100% original M41 "Einheitsfeldmutze" in outstanding condition. It bears the silver piping of an officer (Lieutenant to Colonel) as well as a pink soutache over the cockade used to signify the armored Panzer Division. Although the regulation of July 10, 1942, called for the deletion of the soutache, this was frequently ignored, and those with them were allowed to remain.
