A complete and ready to use watchmakers lathe in the rare Derbyshire 8mm large size. This is an 8 mm collet with larger 8mm thread size allowing 1/4\" through collet capacity. Collets and drawbar will also fit a standard 8mm lathe. Last photo shows a regular 8mm collet for comparison(this collet not included, Gauge blocks supporting lathe for photos are also not included). 12\" lathe bed. Headstock is the better quality \"Hard\". Tailstock is marked: Pat. Jan. 11, 1916. Derbyshire marked toolrest. 49 Derbyshire collets all in Derbyshire 8mm Large size. Full set of step collets: 1,2,3,4,5. Balance holding chuck. Saw holding collet. Lathe has seen almost no use, but did sit in a damp environment, causing plating loss and some surface rust. This was only on the surface, insides are all good as shown in photos.
