As seen in pics, most of the original gold color finish has worn off.No cracks or broken pieces of case seen. I did not attempt cleaning of this unit.Tested with about 20 shots into different wood species; last pic show a few of the test shots.I tested at 80 and 100 psi and it put the nails into the wood to the same depth.MAX psi is noted on the handle to be: 120 psi.
