Description: This is one of the most overlooked and best productions of EastonPress in my opinion. Most seller\'s photos don\'t really do it justice. I have tried to do so with my photos, but I think they still fall a little short. To put itsimply, this is one of the most beautiful Ernest Hemingway collections from anymaker. The two tone leather title plates on spine and stamping details create a stunning impressionon the shelf. Easton only did a very few series with the 3D raised imageon the front cover (see photo 3) such as Heroes of the Wild West and Wizard of Oz. It is a very nice detail.A small motif related to the subject of the book is stamped inblack on the bottom of the spines (upper right of photo 10). Easton stopped spending the effort to create this nicer set decades ago, later producing one with cheaper appearance, but even higher price, which had a flat gilt design on front board. Then they stopped doing the complete setaltogether.If you are looking for an outstanding Hemingway set, this is the edition youwant to collect! Shipping within USA is heavily discounted from my actual cost. ---It is pretty scarce to find a set almost all sealed, and with many still in boxes.
