FOSTORIA ~ Beautiful Vintage Flared 12\" TALL COMPOTE w/LID (Arlington Milk Glass)

Description of item...Here we have a beautiful vintage flared TALL COMPOTE with a LID made by FOSTORIA, USA in the \"Arlington Milk Glass\" pattern displaying a top pierced border surround, flared bowl with textured vertical line designs, inverted pierced bell-shaped base, lid has textured line designs and pierced finial.Itmeasures approx. 12\" high x 9\" in top diameter x 4\" in base diameter.It is in almost excellent maintained (displayed) condition with the slight exception of a 1\" section on the lid\'s rim edge (see photo #7)...a few minor flea bite nicks, not noticeable without close examination, finger touch detection, not at all offensive (priced accordingly.)Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, pattern discontinued, production run 1954-1965. This item weighs approx. 3-3/4 lbs., add 2-3/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
