Many collectors of the Ford tractor line know of the tractors modified with parts from FUNK Aircraft co. and Ford industrial engines. One of the rarest and seldom seen is the Overhead Valve 6 Cylinder model using the 215 Cu in Ford industrial engine. This is a project I started a few years ago and got shuffled aside while I waitedto find all the tin parts to finish the project. Well, life happened and I never got to get back to the Ford Funk. The engine has been rebuilt with new rings and bearings, and valvesas it smoked when I purchased it. I had it stored in the neighbor lady\'s barn and she recently passed away. The property is now up for sale and I don\'t have storage for it anymore. I pulled it out of the barn for photos. The engine still is free, rear tireswere new Firestone Field and Road 14.9x24 when I parked the tractor but one is flat and will need a tube
I believe I have almost all the parts to finish the tractor including some very rare pieces. I have the aluminum carburetor cover, the aluminum hood extension, the starter is marked FUNK. I have collected the original tinwork for the tractor andhave excellent rust freefenders,dog legs, grille and an excellent hood. Update: 1. I took an air tank over today and filled the flat rear tire. Seems to be holding air so hauling should be much simpler. I will fill again before tractor is picked up if needed.
2. I found and added a photo of the tractor before I took it apart to rebuild the engine. Should give you an idea of what unit should look like when painted.
3. MANY times after my sales end I get a message that if the high buyer should not follow thru with purchase please contact 2nd buyer. PLEASE offer the most you are willing to buy the tractor for and don\'t wish later you had offer more. Good luck, Dan
