This ball bag is made of 1/8 thick leather and has been wet formed into a hard shape. There is a wooden stopper attached with a small brass chain. The bag is 6 and 1/2 inches in length not including the stopper, and 4 and 1/2 inches at the widest part. The bag is sewn with artificial sinew and has been shellaced for an antique appearance. There is a shoulder strap made of 1 inch wide cotton webbing. Strap is gray, blue, and burgundy in color.The strap is 55 inches in length from tab end to tab end. and is fastened with deer hide strips. The strap can be easily removed for carry in the bag or pocket. This bag is for round balls up to and including .54 caliber.
