I purchased this from the French flea market several years ago. The Parisian designer Louis Lang produced fabric patterns between 1925-1960. He was one of a group of freelance designers and is known for his vibrant patterns and colors.
This is an original painting gouache on paper, gray flowers with a blue, gray and black striped pattern. Stamped on the back of the painting LOUIS LANG Dessins, 8 Rue de Moniyon, 8, Paris. 9 – PRO.83.70.
