This Fright Zone playset is a vintage original from the Masters of the Universe (MOTU) franchise. With the original dragon puppet. Made by Mattel in 1985, the great condition play set comes with its original box, and while obviously it has damage the fact it still exists and with good color is the great thing. The number that still exists is going to dwindle down more each year. The only major issue is the tree has 2 broken limbs but both pieces are still there and both were clean breaks and with the color of the tree a repair will go unnoticed. The 2 levers that make the tree grab unexpecting good guys still work perfectly. The notches on bottom of the tree to lock it into place are still there. The trap door works and still with 1 original rubber band. The cell and cell door are in perfect condition and it still locks and release switch works. The dragon puppet has very few rips or holes and the color is amazing. It is stiff at the moment, which old rubber will do. There's several things to use to make plyable again, I was going to leave that to the purchaser but as time passes I might work on it. I'll update here if I do. The 3 main structural pieces are in great shape and it still has the 2 always lost tabs to hold it together. They look loose in pictures because I didn't want to clamp them all the way in and have extra ware on them cause it'd need to come back apart to fit in the box.
The Fright Zone playset is a rare find for any MOTU collector and this 1 may have been used 5 times by me, the original owner. It is a great addition to your collection and a must-have for any fan of the TV show or comics.
