GRISWOLD #7 SKILLET; Large Block Logo, #701A Chrome Finish For Sale

Up for sale is this vintage #7 Griswold chrome plated cast iron skillet. I believe this dates from the 1930\'s. The skillet is in very good condition with only one flaw and that is a scorch mark on the interior base. I don\'t know enough about these pieces to know if is is removable, however I do believe the scorch is cosmetic and would not affect the cooking capabilities of this nice piece. The cooking area is smooth and free of rust and pits. There are no cracks in the piece. It sits flat (at least on my stove). The pan measures 9.5\" in diameter and sits about 2\" tall. Weight is 3 pounds, 7 ounces.
The sides of this pan have a build up of seasoning oil on them - they aren\'t sticky, but certainly need some attention. I have added the last three photos to show this as best I could. Please take this condition into account when offerding. With a little elbow grease and seasoning, this pan would be ready to go to work, or even as a great conversation piece. offer with confidence as I have 100% response ratings.
