Offered here is anGroup of 9 Daguerrotypes with an Inserted Family Genealogy which was folded and insertedin theDaguerrotype caseof the oldest woman - it is really tough to get good photos of Daguerrotypes!!These were purchased at an estate sale as a group, the child is very poor condition as is one of the men. After measuring them I believe that the larger ones are 6th plate [one may be a tintype], two are 9th plate [one may be a tintype] and the two smallest are 16th plate one of them is loose with no case - the other is rough and missing much of the case, Two of the larger ones are missing one edge each and other cases are broken at the spine. Three are complete and open at the spine. Most have the little latches. A VERY cool group!!Shipped protected and boxed with delivery confirmation.
