This beautiful Bohemian 19th century art glass vase is blown of cased glass with applied handles. The interior of the vase is a opaque opal white color. The exterior of the glass is a vibrant red colour. Hand painted with white enameling, and this style of decoration is also known as "snow" glass. Decoration depicts a dragonfly in flight with surrounding lacy foliage. Beaded accents through out. The colorless applied handles are round and attached to the vase.
Attributed to Bohemian glasshouse, Harrach. Circa. 1880's.
5" tall.The rim is 2-3/8" diameter, and the low footed base is 2-5/8" diameter.3-3/4" wide, at best.
