UP for offer is a plaque off a Herring or Farrel safe.
Plaque is 3 x 1 ¾. MIRROR FINISH NICKEL over brass. Plaqueis not same thickness. It’s mounded in the center and tapers off to all sidesto very thin knife like edge.
I’m not sure what all the patent dates were for but I wasthinking this had something to do with FRANKLINITE Steel??? I found some infofrom an 1862 newspaper. I’m pasting info in BLUE….
