The Hi-Five Kradle is designed to hold the LP12 securely whilst it\'s worked upon, this is essential if you are going to get the best sonic performance from the turntable

The Kradle allows you to elevate the turntable and therefore have access to the underside, facilitating ease of modification or adjustment, preventing damage to the turntable and ensuring proper suspension adjustment

It is desirable to raise the turntable to about eye level so that you can easily reach and also view the underside of the turntable. To this end we recommend placing the Kradle on a standard height work bench

The turntable needs to be perfectly level for proper suspension adjustment and therefore the feet of the Kradle are height adjustable

The surface that the Kradle rests upon must be solid and level

Before using the Kradle cover the top of the mounting plates and the underside of both clamps with protective material such as tape or strips of card. Then fit the turntable plinth carefully into the Kradle and clamp in place

Adjust the Kradle feet until the top of the turntable plinth is level. This is best done using a spirit level on the plinth and gaining level in one direction adjusting just 2 feet, and then adjusting one of the other 2 feet for level in the other direction. Finally foot 4 can be adjusted down to the supporting bench ensuring that all feet are in full contact with the bench, which will give maximum rigidity to the assembly and precision to the set-up

Under no circumstances should you work on the components of a turntable whilst connected to an electrical supply!

The legs are detachable for storage purposes and for safe carriage

You will need an allen key to attach and detach the legs
