Selling my trusted faithful Hickok tube tester. As you can see it works great but due to age being sold as is.
Prefer local pickup so that you may take it through your tests however I will ship if necessary.I use the multi-meter to match plate current when testing all my tubes which is also a better way to match your tubes rather than a simple GM reading.
Power cord is great condition with no cracks tears or rips of any kind. I am not sure if it is original or not. I do not know what it looks like inside since it has never given me any problems and my calibration tubes test good so I have never had any reason to open it up nor do I intend to.The case is in good condition for its age.
Rather than take a chance on a used tester that has been in storage for who knows how many years, here is your chance to buy one that has been used and in a known good, working condition.
This tester has caught supposedly new matched tubes I purchased on that have had shorts and other issues before I used them and caused problems in my amps, and sellers had to replace. In all fairness this can happen to new or NOS tubes so its a good investment to have at your disposal top of the line test equipment.
