Bass Harmonica: (circa 1940s?) Hohner \"Educator No. 976\" single reed bass harmonica. Unique sound! It\'s especially unique because it\'s not the double reed that you\'ll hear on Sanford & Sons/Simon & Garfunkel, etc. Swan Senior is comparable in construction, but this is a Hohner so it\'s far superior quality! It\'s surprisingly comfortable... not a sharp edge on it, either. I\'ve only come across one audio clip of a single reed. This is a different harp in the video clip, but I could hear this harp doing this in the right hands (certainly not mine!) Single Reed Video Clip
