Description of item...Here we have an interesting and uncommon antique copper WAX MELTING/SMELTING POT with a hinged lid and an inner cup (removable), the rear shows remnants of a detached electric cord/wire. The front has an attached brass plaque which reads, "INTERNATIONAL ELECTRIC COMPANY ~ TRADE MARK ~ MANUFACTURES INDIANAPOLIS, U.S.A. ~ VOLTS 109 TO 116 ~ TYPE GH P ~ AMPERES 1.1 ~ NO. 1779 ~ <LMP> ~ PATENTED FEB.6.06."It measures approx. 8-1/2" high (10-1/2" with handle up⇧) x 7" in diameter.It is in good maintained (used) condition with no dings or dents and is being offered in "as found" condition. It has not been cleaned or polished since acquired currently showing a natural aged copper patina and some black paint loss on the wood handle grip.Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1920-30's. This item weighs approx. 4-1/4 lbs., add 2-3/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
