Original Italian Manufacture Model 1916 Steel Helmet. 1-piece manufacture helmet has a green finish with what appears to be remains of white or winter camouflage paint (your call!). Something is going on on the left side as shown (maybe a bracket was mounted??) Green and white finish on inside as well. Round badge holes in front hold a 22nd Field Artillery Badge. Brown leather liner is complete but no longer attached to liner mounts. Rear and front liner mounts intact, front is missing the aluminum spacer and one leg. The name \"Lou Freschlin\" looks new??!!! No chin strap. Myers...Semper fi!Revised information: I\'ve been told that this is a Model 1917 used and modified in the year 1920, reference to adding the badge and additional padding. The paint color is from the 1920\'s. World War I, Africa, WW II.....your call. Sgt Mike
