This Jackson 648S with the desirable flip module has had the full restoration treatment. Shown testing both a 12AX7 and a 6L6G on side #1 of the flip module, and a #45 tube on side #2 of the flip module. The capacitor and out of tolerance resistors in the chassis were replaced, all controls cleaned and lubed. The original schematic is still affixed inside the case bottom and original operating instructions, technical bulletin sheet and accessory pack are also included. The previous owner attached a 7 and 9 pin tube pin straightener on the face just below the tube roll chart.
The included roll chart contains most of the tubes you would want to test, but if you want the complete list of thousands of tubes testable on the unit, contact Vacuum Tubes Inc on the internet and spend approx. $10 on their complete Jackson 648 manual for identifying, calibrating and setting up all versions of the 648.
I have owned a lot of vintage tube testers over the years, and this is right at the top of the list as nicest in both cosmetics and operating condition...it will not disappoint!!!
