This vintage Fire King coffee mug is a unique addition to any collection. The round, opalescent glass mug features a glossy finish and a beautiful jadeite D handle. It is suitable for hot beverages and is perfect for all occasions.
This mug was manufactured in the United States. True collectors know the importance of the back-stamp (clearly visible in my photos) which dates this old gem to circa 1948-1950. I have collected and sold many of these mugs. As always there is evidence that this mug was present and used during many meals, perhaps at a diner that now only exists in memories of days gone by. This mug is, however, one of the more pristine Jadeite pieces I’ve ever owned. There are very few scratches and I couldn’t find any stains. Please see photos for more information.
