A rare find!!! An original campaign book (or pressbook) from the 1934 MGM picture \"The Girl from Missouri\" starring Jean Harlow, Franchot Tone, Lionel Barrymore, and Lewis Stone.
I’ve included several pictures -- please review these so that you can get a better idea of the condition. The pressbook is in fair to good condition with the following issues: At some point in time it was folded in half. The front and back cover are still intact, but fragile – although the colors on the front and back are quite vibrant. The cover image is the same as the window card for the movie. There are 14, 1-sided pages, and 1 blank page inside; about 1/3 of one page has been torn out. From the pictures, you’ll see the internal moisture stains. The central page (with the poster ordering form) has come loose from the staples. There are miscellaneous minor tears as well. Unfortunately, the herald is missing. Several of the pages have a word, phrase or paragraph circled in pen; the top back cover as a name written on it in pencil. The size of the pressbook is approximately 13 3/4 inches x 19 3/4 inches. Although far from mint condition, my research has found no offerings or sales of this pressbook. It is quite a pretty piece, and a wonderful reference item.
