For sale is a John Deere2 rowplanterequipped with model 7000 / 7100 row units. Planter is in good condition. Row width is set at 30\" but could be adjusted.This is a3 point mounted planter with cat 1 pins. Brackets are bolted on and are adjustable.Pins on brackets are low enough sothat plantercan be raised high enough out of the ground,even for lower compacttractors.

New and Improved!!: Tool bar, drive and drive wheel,and drive chains are brand new. We now build the bars, stands, drive wheel and transmission. All built from new material. Theplanter is equipped with a \"Drivemission\". This is something we designed andare having a factory cut these out withcomputer controlled lasers. The transmission (used for controlling seed population) and drive wheel arebuilt together in a neat compact design. A seed chart will be included for determining which sprockets to use. Sprockets canbe changed without any tools. We are the onlybusiness offering this and it will set us apart from the competition.

Seeding depth is adjustable with the quick adjust T handle. Planter has truvee openers with dual guage wheels for accurate seed placement. Press wheels have adjustable down pressure.Planters are sold without meters. I can add meters for $100 per row. I can add corn, soybean, and/or milo meters. Corn meters will also plant large sunflowers.

other options:1)We can installinsecticide boxes (rear box that sets behind the seed box) for $100 per row. These could also be used for planting small seeds like turnips.2)We can install a insecticide box that has been altered to apply fertilizer for $250 per row. 3)We can also add furrow openers for $100 per row. These are the disc blades that set in a v formation in front of each opener. They are used for clearing trash and clods out of the way for the seed opener to run on a level surface.

This planter is heavier than the 71 flex. Coupled with dual down pressure springs this planter will notill in most conditions the way it is now.We can add notill coulters or row cleaners for $125 per row. It will also plant in tilled conditions. Planter is simple to operate. The 7000 series is known for being well built and dependable. This would be the perfect size for food plots or the smaller farmer.

I have been around John Deere planters all my life and have been farming even longer:) I will try to help answer any questions about farming you may have. I was the first on to build and sell a 2 row planter several years ago. And over the years, have figured out what works and what doesn\'t.

1)Use the freight calculator to figure freight cost. Always much cheaper if I can ship to a business address with dock or lift. Shipping is usually around $300 to $400. If calculator gives you anything much different, let me know and I will call in for quote. If using this option, I will set up the freight arrangements. OR...

2) Buyer can pick up here at the farm. OR...

3)I have severalother options for shipping (listed below) if buyer wishes to contact someone else to ship. I can store as long as needed with prior arrangements. I can load onto trailer.

Option#3: Website bulletin boards that have independent haulers advertising for loads. This may be your best bet for a single item, avoiding signins and account setups. You can almost always find someone going somewhere.
