LARGE BRONZE PLAQUE Panama Pacific International Exposition San Francisco 1915
I am offering a large bronze plaque from the San Francisco 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition. It measures a little less than 10 inches across and 3/16 inch thick at the edge. It weighs a little over 3 pounds. I have not been able to find a maker’s mark or a foundry mark.
The plaque has a handle attached to it. I have no idea of the handle’s purpose - it does show signs of old age and use.
This item is not pristine. The surface shows a lot of use marks, but retains a nice mellow patina overall. There are small discolorations all over the surface, so please examine the pictures carefully.
