This large beautiful tray has been in the family forever.
I could not find any noticable markings to tell who the maker was.
It is VERY HEAVY at just under 12 pounds.
The dimensions are 23\" long (28\" with the handles) by 17\" wide and about 1.5\" tall.
There are light scratches on the surface from use but no deep gouges and no dents. The silverplate appears to be intact everywhere as well. It\'s a beast and it\'s held up well over the years.
The pattern around the sides is roses and grapes in a georgian style. The sides are elevated a bit and pierced with engraved fern leaves between the piercings. The surface has as an ornate floral and swirl engraving on it.
On the bottom it\'s plain with 4 little green felt pads on the tips of the feet to prevent scratches.
This is a really lovely tray, much more beautiful in person than the pictures can show. We used it primarily for a large tea set, but it can be used for anything.
