Two mica boost elements turn on instantly to begin heating the room, while two infrared quartz tubes, just like the rays from the sun, begin to produce soft, radiant heat targeting people and objects, without compromising the room\'s oxygen or humidity levels. Standard infrared heaters require placement at least 18 inch -24 inch away from the wall to allow for rear air intake. The slim line\'s unique front air intake vent and slim profile design allows for placement flush against the wall - you can even mount directly onto the wall! features include two heat settings, energy Saving eco mode, 12 hour programmable timer, and simple operation from the control panel or remote control (requires 2-aaa batteries not included). this infrared heater is an ideal supplemental heat source for up to one room in the home.
