Mid 18th Century Pre Marcolini Meissen Hand Painted Floral & Gilt Tea PotBeautiful rare mid 18th century antique porcelain tea pot. Nicely decorated with hand painted flowers in pink, blue, purple, orange, and yellow. With a green leaf and gilt finial. And gold gilt highlights to the handle, and gold gilding along the edges. Has an early blue Meissen crossed swords mark on the bottom with a 4 underneath. Probably made right before the Marcolini period, or right at the beginning of the Marcolini period. Has a chip to the edge of the lid, a small bruise to the underside of the lid, and wear to the gilding. Otherwise good condition with no additional chips or cracks. Measures 9 1/2\" wide from spout to handle x 5 1/2\" tall.This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the piece.
