It will work in a power outage, and there are no mechanical parts that breakdown.
The Wiseway Pellet Stove is the quietest stove on the market, with no blower and no auger. Although a blower isn\'t an option from the factory, you can use an aftermarket heat powered stove fan to move air quietly. The Wiseway Pellet Stove has a 3\" flue outlet but we recommend you increase to a 4\" pellet flue for greater flow. This will require an appliance adapter and an increaser.
Wiseway Pellet Stove is in a class of its own although it is technically classified as a pellet stove because of the fuel it burns. Due to it not using electricity and operating like a wood stove, a new classification may be needed but at this time we simply call it a Non-Electric Pellet Stove.
