Music Box Unusual Veneer, Slide-Out Drawer, Plays \"Some Enchanted Evening\" For Sale

Unusual music box, feels like a 1960\'s Formica veneer. Box measures 9\" wide by 5.25\" deep by 4.24\" tall. The word \"Japan\" is written in gold on the bottom of the box. Both music box and pull-out drawer are lined with red velour or some similar fabric, not sure what. The music box works perfectly and plays a lovely in-tune version of \"Some Enchanted Evening\", so box must date from at least 1949 when the song was written for a Broadway musical. Extensive searching did not turn up any identical boxes with this interesting contemporary/Japanese style.
