National Panasonic RF-5000A 11 Band Transistor Shortwave Radio - Works Vintage For Sale

Working National Panasonic vintage radio model RF-5000A. When powered on, it works although office is surrounded by concrete walls so hard to get reception. So I cannot say if good reception although I did get a couple FM stations and could tell the bass/treble/volume knobs work as intended. Hard to say on the buttons on top like BANDWIDTH/AFC/ANL/BFO as I don\'t even know what they are for. The light on front displayed which band was on when i held light switch in and went across though all band\'s buttons. The inner right side has one light on, not sure if that is all of them or if some are out. The AC adapter light that shines through the case does not work. The right antenna goes up and down and tilts but is a little loose in it\'s socket. Not sure if can be tightened. The left antenna comes out of the radio when you pull up. Although the piece that comes out of radio will entend and close back and forth from it\'s 8\" \"closed\" position to it\'s 29\" \"opened\" position. Big Chrome \"C\" shaped bar on back that looks like it opens so the radio can be leaned back at an angle for better viewing appears to work good and as intended, as far as I can tell. Overall condition seems to be good for age with scratch here or there. Back down works and as you can see the battery terminal is very clean and still has the plastic battery cases. Also has the AC power supply if that was an option. Don\'t have the front cover though. If you have specific questions, please ask so I can tell you.
