This is navy pistol cartridge box with \"USN\" embossed on the front flap. It is rare to find one that has not had post Civil War modifications. This box also has the original tin liner. The front flap is soft and pliable. The inner flap has the alligator cracking. The inner pocket and tab are present. The tin liner is present but rusted and separated along a seam. The back edges of the box and one front corner have deteriorated a bit, but overall the box displays well Three day inspection period with buyer paying for any return shipping charges.
