Found in the estate sale of a Kentucky long rifle maker, this is a new, old stock,7/8\" x 42\" .36 caliber rifled Green Mountain Muzzleloader barrel,with 9/16-18 breech threads. This barrel is brand new, just as it came from the manufacturer. This barrel was oiled and put away. It is bright andshinyinside and out.
Green Mountain barrels are prized for their accuracy. Green Mountain is now concentrating on their military contracts and no longer makes .36 caliber muzzleloader barrels, so this is a rare find. This barrel will make a fine southern mountain rifle, squirrel rifle, target/competition rifle or just a fun shooter.
