This vest offers front and back protection (the essentials). It allows you to get a brand new armored vest and stay within a budget wile getting all the stopping power of a level IIIA vest. The vest is light weight, weighing in at under 5 1/2 pounds. The carrier was designed to be both concealable (under your clothing) as well as warn external (over your clothing). The carrier is made of a heavy duty nylon and has front and back Velcro ID placards. This style vest offers a front 10\"x12\" protective coverage area as well as a back 10\"x12\" protective area. Both the Shoulder and waist straps are adjustable to accommodate a one size fits all. We tested the sizing and it is best fitted to a Medium to Extra Large framed person. The best part about this vest is that you can add your 10x12 level III plates to the carrier if you wish.
